56 imagesI get to photograph a lot of concerts and performances as part of my job at the paper. Usually when photographing concerts you are limited to photographing during the first 2 or 3 songs only. It can sometimes be a challenge to getting that killer shot when you only have such a limited opportunity .

Lou & I flew to Pisa and spent time in Pietrasanto, Lucca, Sienna, Florence, Venice, Rome and Viareggio. Lots of time looking up at the ceilings of cathedrals and down from towers and cathedral domes.

18 imagesI've made 2 trips to Alaska, July 2005 and June 2010. The first was with my 85 year old Uncle Leon Gathany. It was his 30th trip to Alaska and he did not start visiting Alaska until he was 65. At 80 he was a musher's assistant in the Iditarod.The second trip was with my wife Lou for our 35th anniversary.These are some of my favorite images.
